Description:
The TC was the first car that MG produced after World War II. The proven 1.25 litre long-stroke engine was assumed from the predecessor model TB and increased to 55 hp. With its beautiful body the TC was often referred to as the little brother of the legendary Jaguar S.S. 100. Not only because of movies like “Love Story” and prominent owners like actor Clark Gable and race driver Phil Hill the TC became very popular. Especially its charming appearance and the sporty handling made this MG an extremely successful roadster. From 1945 to 1949 more than 10.000 examples were built.
This MG TC was registerd first on 08.11.1947. In the 1980s it has been extensively restored in England. The car is “Matching-Numbers” and has a comprehensive documentation. A valuation report (Classic Data) is also available.
