Discription:
The Bentley S2 succeeded the S1 in 1959. One new feature was the V8 engine with a significant increase in output compared to the old in-line six-cylinder. Power steering was now standard. Bentley offered the Continental versions as coupés or limousines as sporty special models. Bentley only supplied the chassis with the engine and well-known coachbuilders of the time created the bodies. (Mulliner, Park Ward, James Young and others).
This Bentley Continental Flying Spur was originally delivered in the UK and comes from a collector’s estate. It has been extensively restored and driven by its owner during his stay on the Island of Sylt.
