The Mercedes 300 S, from 1956 called 300 SC, is a coupé derived from the Mercedes 300 (Adenauer). In 1951 the car was presented to the public at the Salon de l’Automobile in Paris. The car, internally designated W188, was the most expensive model in the Mercedes program at the time and rarer than the famous Mercedes 300SL (Gullwing)! From 1956 the 300 SC was produced with a complex direct injection. There was also more chrome trim.

This 300 SC Coupé was delivered 1956 to a client in Düsseldorf. After, it was sold to a Mercedes agency in the USA in the late 1970s. It was extensively restored in the 1980s and won the First National Prize from the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) in 1988. The car has a very rare steel sunroof, the original luggage set, fog lights and a Becker radio. The 300 SC is delivered with a fresh inspection, new HU and H license plate. Matching Numbers!
