    Description:

    The 300 SL had his Debut at the „International Motor Sports Show“ in New York 1954 as Coupe ( Gullwing). In 1957 started the production oft he 300 SL Roadster and the production of the 300 SL Gullwing ended.

    From 1957 to 1963 only 1858 Examples were produced.

    This 300 SL Roadster was delivered new in 1961 (already equipped with disc brakes front and rear) to Cologne  in Germany. The first owner wanted a special colour outside called Pariser Blau (also called Berliner Blau) and this is the only SL that was painted in this special colour. Also the interior had a special colour called Elfenbein (ivory). This 300 SL Roadster later received a new engine (alloy) from Mercedes and they kept the original engine number.
