Description:
The BMW 327 was produced exclusively as a convertible and coupe at the BMW Eisenach plant.
The bodies came from the Ambi-Budd company in Berlin.
The six-cylinder engine is a further development of the 326 drive. Due to a higher compression 5 hp more were generated.
This BMW 327 was delivered to Stockholm on New Year’s Eve 1939. It was sold to Denmark shortly after the end of the war, where it was in the hands of a motor journalist for over 30 years, who in the end could only be persuaded to sell it, with the condition that the car should be restored.
The BMW still has its original engine and transmission (matching numbers). The vehicle was extensively frame-off restored some time ago and drives very nicely.
The history of the BMW is well documented, as is the restoration work.
