Description:
In 1925 Bentley launched the 6 ½ Litre, its first 6-cylinder and an incredibly powerful car. In 1928 the Speed Six followed with a particularly sporty design, which enabled Bentley in a specially prepared competition version to achieve superior wins in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1929 and 1930. This is one of the reasons why the Speed Six is W.O. Bentley’s personal favourite of all models ever built. With the original log book available this Bentley has a well-documented history. The car was meticulously built by Bentley specialist David Ayre and optimised for participation in demanding historic rallies. The car impresses with its sensational driving characteristics and its very authentic appearance. A German registration, the original “V5 Registration”, a FIVA passport and a comprehensive valuation report are available.
A total of 363 Bentley 6 ½ Litre and 182 Bentley Speed Six were produced with different bodies and chassis lengths.
