    1963 the 911 was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt as the type 901. It was launched in two versions: In 1964 as the 911 with a 130-horsepower engine, and due to strong demand for a lower-priced Porsche, in 1965 as the type 912 with less equipment and a four-cylinder engine with 90 hp. At the Monte Carlo Rally in 1965 the new Porsche 911 was the first time used in motorsport.

    This exceptional 911 was produced in 1965 and exported to the USA. It is therefore one of the most sought-after early examples! The car later returned to Germany and was extensively built up new from its bodyshell according to FIA appendix K by motorsport specialists for use in tough historic rallying and was successfully used in numerous historic rallying events. Among other things, it contributed to the twofold victory of the historic European Rally Championship. The vehicle construction and history are extensively documented. An extensive equipment and spare parts package is also available at extra cost. The 911 is road registered and comes with a valid FIA-HTP. A well-known competition vehicle for further successful participation in historic rally sport events.
