    History:

    The top-of-the-range 911S 2.4 model presented in autumn 1971, was the first Porsche with a front spoiler. At the rear of the car was a 2.4-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with an output of 190 hp, which could be ordered with a manual five-speed gearbox. Motorised in this way, the Porsche 911S 2.4 achieved fabulous performance by the standards of the time. According to the factory, the top speed was over 231 km/h, and the Porsche 911 S 2.4 accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.

    In 1972, just 1,740 cars were built in this specification.

     

    About our vehicle:

    This car was fully restored to delivery specifications. It was based on an example re-imported from the USA with an untouched original body. In the course of the restoration, the vehicle was dismantled down to bare body shell and was fully restored.  The engine/transmission was completely overhauled by a renowned specialist. In the course of this, the engine received a performance upgrade to approx 230 HP according to Dyno sheet. The vehicle comes with its original Recaro sports seats. The car impresses with its almost “as new condition” and outstanding driving performance.
