    In 1969, the flagship of the 911 series remained the 911S with the six-cylinder boxer engine with an increased displacement of 2.2 litres and an output of 180 hp. For an additional charge, this model could already be coupled with a manual five-speed gearbox at that time. With this engine, the Porsche 911S 2.2 achieved legendary performance for its time. According to the factory, the top speed was 225 km/h, and the Porsche 911 S 2.2 accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds.

    As one of only 1,744 examples of the 911S Coupé from the 1970 production year, this vehicle is particularly remarkable in the history of the 911 series.

    According to the documents available, this 911 S 2.2 ltr. Coupé was delivered to Italy in 1970. A few years ago, the vehicle was extensively partially restored on an almost untouched basis in Germany. The engine and the entire technics were completely overhauled by renowned specialists. An extensive invoice documentation is available. The car convinces not least by its outstanding driving characteristics. The engine number corresponds to the delivery specification (“matching-number“).
