    In 1969, the flagship of the 911 series remained the 911S with the six-cylinder boxer engine with an increased displacement of 2.2 litres and an output of 180 hp. For an additional charge, this model could already be coupled with a manual five-speed gearbox at that time. With this engine, the Porsche 911S 2.2 achieved incredible performance for its time. According to the factory, the top speed was 225 km/h, and the Porsche 911 S 2.2 accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds.

    As one of only 1,744 examples of the 911S Coupé from the 1970 model year, this vehicle is particularly remarkable in the history of the 911 series.

    According to available documents, this 911 S 2.2 ltr. Coupé was delivered to the USA (New York). A few years ago, the car returned to Germany. The current owner acquired the vehicle from a renowned Porsche specialist. Prior to this, the Coupé was completely restored on the bare body. A photo documentation of the restoration and a valuation report are available. The car impresses not least with its outstanding driving characteristics.
