Description:
The top model Porsche 911S 2.4 was presented in autumn 1971 and was the first Porsche sportscar with a standard front spoiler. At the rear of the Porsche worked a 2.4-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with an output of 190 hp, which could be combined with a manual five-speed gearbox for an additional charge. With this engine the Porsche 911S achieved an amazing performance in the early 70´s. The top speed more than 231 km/h and the Porsche 911 S accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in only 7.4 seconds.
Only 3160 examples of the Porsche 911S 2.4 Coupé were manufactured between August 1971 and August 1973.
This Porsche 911S 2.4 was delivered to Switzerland in 1973 and returned to Germany a few years ago. Until today the vehicle with only 1 owner from new has covered a mileage of only 71,832 km. Based on an excellent, rust-free coachwork, the car was completely restored with a great deal of effort. The original engine (“Matching-number!”) was disassembled and completely revised with new parts by a renowned brand specialist.
