Description:
As a further evolutionary stage of the extremely successful Porsche 996 GT3, the GT3 RS is already visually a homage to the highly sought-after 911 Carrera RS of the seventies. The concept of building a road-legal racing car also corresponds to that of its successful predecessor. Many details ensure that the RS is even lighter than the 996 GT3 introduced in 1999 and thus has better handling characteristics that ensure greater driving safety. The 996 GT3 RS is one of the most sought-after RS models. Externally, the 682 Carrara white examples built differ only in the colour of the lettering and the rims – either red or blue!
The fact that the GT3 RS is a racing car with everyday suitability means that these were often used accordingly. This makes it all the rarer to find a specimen that is in the hands of the first owner, has run just 16.700 km, has not been used on the race track and has been chequebook-maintained. Probably a unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts – with a wide range of possible uses!
