The in 1935 / 36 developed BMW 328 Sportroadster belongs to the Legends of Automobile History. Although developed with low budget, the well designed Sportscar dominated the 2 liter class for a long time. Modified raceversions won Le Mans , Mille Miglia and lots of other races in theit class. Out of the 464 cars that were built, 403 received a standard body and the rest became customied bodies and racing bodies.

This BMW 328 was delivered new to Bremen in Germany – in this colour combination. During the War the car spent his time in the Netherlands but in 1955 this 328 was reimported to Germany and remains in the same ownership till today. The car is very well documented and comes with a huge load of spareparts. In the 50s this 328 received his actual design by Karosseriebau Ihle in Bruchsal / Germany ( Frontend and Rearend were modified ), the engine was replaced at an unknown time and upgraded with a Cylinderhead from Schnitzer – output now 110 to 120 PS instead of 80 ( Standard ). The wheels are also period style – named after race driver Alexander von Falkenhausen ( AFM ).A lot of Patina (last restoration in the 90s), but a true 328.
