Description:
During the short production period from September 1975 to May 1976, a total of only 511 Jensen GTs were made, of which only 293 were left-hand drive.
The Jensen GT is a sporty Shooting Brake based on the Jensen-Healey Roadster built from 1972-76. It was the last model introduced by Jensen in 1975 before the company had to give up the car production. The Roadster and GT were powered by the new Lotus 907 16-valve engine, which was also used in the Lotus Esprit.
The GT offered here was delivered to the USA as a left-hand drive car in the spring of 1976 and found its way back to Europe and Germany in 2012, where a careful partial restoration was carried out. Five years ago the vehicle became part of a Volante collection whose owner has a preference for unusual and rare vehicles from the United Kingdom.
A stylish GT with historic registration, Lotus engine, and definitely with a special attention-getting guarantee due to its rarity value.
