Description:
The Maserati Mistral was introduced in 1963 as the successor to the 3500 GT and was the marque’s last series-production model to feature the legendary straight-six engine designed by Giulio Alfieri. The open Spyder version ranks among the most exclusive Maserati classics of all. In total, only 124 examples were built, making this model one of the rarest open grand tourers of its era.
The car offered here was delivered on 14 July 1965 via the Maserati dealer Thepenier, Saint-Cloud (Paris). A few years ago, renowned specialist workshops carried out a comprehensive full restoration. In the course of this, the engine, gearbox and all mechanical components were professionally overhauled. The restoration was completed in 2016. Since then, the car has been part of a high-quality Maserati collection. According to the Maserati certificate, the car retains its original engine (matching numbers).
