The Opel GT was manufactured between 1968 and 1973. The majority of the vehicles produced were delivered to the USA. The Opel GT was initially built in the GT 1100 and GT 1900 variants. The more powerful version with 90 hp and a top speed of almost 190 km/h was particularly sought-after. The GT model was the dream of an entire generation of motorists. The sporty lines and folding headlights made the vehicle a style icon even back then. Opel advertised provocatively in the 1970s with the title ‘Only flying is more beautiful’ and received a great deal of applause from the trade press.
The Opel GT presented here impresses with its exceptionally well-preserved originality. The body substance is sensationally well-kept and the paintwork is still original throughout.
