Description:
The Jaguar SS 100 is still considered the prototype of English roadster models of the late 1920s and early 1930s in terms of its appearance. Only relatively few examples have survived, and the uncomplicated and user-friendly technology, which does not overwhelm even inexperienced drivers, makes this model a special driving experience. Only 190 examples of the SS 100 2.5 litre were produced between 1936 and 1940.
About the vehicle:
This SS 100 is very well documented. In addition to an old English log book, correspondence provides information about the vehicle’s ownership history. It has the original type plate, a FIVA passport and a Jaguar Heritage certificate. A few years ago the vehicle was completely “frame-off”-restored true to original. The restoration work is documented with photos and invoices. Among other things, the engine and steering gear were completely overhauled, and the vehicle was upgraded to 5 gears. The original gearbox is included. A rare original vehicle that meets all requirements.
