Description:
In October 1938, Lagonda presented the “Drop-Head Coupe” for the first time at the Olympia Motor Show in London. In order to adapt the vehicle to the highest demands, none other than W.O. Bentley, who was chief designer at Lagonda from 1935 to 1939, developed a 12-cylinder engine which was unique at that time. Even today this engine conveys an incomparable driving experience due to its almost noiseless power development.
Only 30-35 exemplars of the V12 were made in the exclusive DHC version between 1938 and 1940.
This Lagonda was “frame-off”-restored between 2000-2004. All workings were carried out by Lagonda specialists in GB. The result is a V12 in an outstanding condition, which must have seen.
The wonderful design in combination with the smooth-running and powerful V12-engine makes this car to one of the most desirable Lagonda worldwide! A unique opportunity not only for collectors and Lagonda enthusiasts!
