    Description:

The 300 SL celebrated its premiere at the “International Motor Sports Show” in New York in 1954. After a very positive response from the public, series production began in August 1954 at the Sindelfingen plant. Production of the roadster started in 1957.

This 300 SL Roadster was registered for the first time on August 15, 1957 as a demonstration vehicle for Mercedes-Benz AG. Then he went to the USA. At the beginning of the 1980s the 300SL came to England. In 2005, the owner of several Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Sweden bought the car and had the technology extensively overhauled (photo documentation). In 2008 the 300 SL comes back to Germany. Here it is painted in the color „graphite gray“ (originally it was silver-gray met.)

The 300 SL has been constantly serviced by specialist companies and is very well documented. All numbers and nameplates are original. „Matching numbers“! On this 300 SL the body has probably never been separated from the chassis!
