Description:
Between 1957 and 1959 2.178 examples of the type 220 S Cabriolet were produced. The Mercedes-Benz W 128, known as the Mercedes- Benz 220 S/E, with its six-cylinder engine was one of the Daimler-Benz brand’s top-of-the-range models.
This Mercedes-Benz 220 S Cabriolet was delivered in 1959 to the USA. A few years ago, the car returned to Germany and was completely restored. The paintwork in light green metallic and the engine correspond to the delivery specifications. With chrome trim, the veneered wood in the interior and the lavish leather interior, this model is one of the most luxurious Mercedes models. The vehicle delights with its as-new appearance and beautiful colour combination. As promoted in the former advertisement, the 220 S Cabriolet still promises “a holiday on every journey!”
