Description:
The W113 was presented first at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show as the successor of the 190 SL “touring roadster” and the 300 SL sports car. A contrast that seemed almost insurmountable. As a two-seater touring sportscar with high performance and optimum safety, the “Pagoda” therefore combined the strengths of the two previous SL series.
19831 units of the Mercedes 230 SL (W113) were produced between 1963 and 1967.
This 230 SL was first delivered to France and returned to Germany via Belgium a few years ago. The vehicle impresses with its fantastic bodywork. The interior is beautifully preserved in its original condition. Technically and optically, the Roadster has been carefully revised.
The car has a mileage of only 76,390 km and still has its original engine (“Matching-numbers!”). The original papers and a copy of the data card come with the car.
