Description:
The 300 SL was presented at the “International Motor Sports Show” in New York from 6 to 14 February 1954. Mercedes-Benz got very positive responses to the 300 SL at the Motor Show so the series production already started in August 1954 at the Sindelfingen plant.
From 1957 to 1963 a total number of 1.858 exemplars of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster were built.
The vehicle presented here was originally delivered in Germany and was sold to the USA years later. The car returned to Germany in 1994. Here, the then owner had the 300 SL Roadster extensively restored. The vehicle is in a very beautiful condition.
