Description:
The SL model series (R107) came onto the market in 1971 as the successor to the so-called “Pagode” (W 113). It established a new design at Mercedes-Benz with its broadband H4 headlights and large fluted tail lights. The appearance of the R107 characterised the Mercedes-Benz design of the 1970s.
A total of 237,287 vehicles were produced between 1974 and 1989, of which only 13,742 were 300 SLs (R 107 E30)!
This 300SL R107 was first delivered in Germany before it was exported to Spain. Some years ago, the car returned to Germany and was extensively overhauled. Overall, the car impresses with its unused condition and attractive colour scheme.
Engine:
6-cylinder-in-line, 2.962 ccm, 179 hp
