    The Porsche 356 is the first production model by Porsche. The type designation 356 for the car is the consecutive number of this Porsche construction. The engine had the construction number 369. 7 July 1948 is considered the “birthday” of the Porsche 356, when the first test report on a Porsche Coupe appeared. It was produced in several model generations. All variants had a 4-cylinder rear engine and rear-wheel drive. The production of the 356 series ended in April 1965.

    This Porsche was first delivered to Boston / USA in 1965, returned to Germany in the early 90s and was extensively restored in Hamburg. The car has been with its current owner for about 20 years. A copy of the original delivery sheet is available.
