The Ferrari 512 BBi is the further development of the Ferrari 512 BB and was produced from 1981. Due to the stricter emission standards in the USA and the criticised high fuel consumption, the carburettors were replaced by fuel injection systems, whereby the suffix was changed to BBi (for iniezione).
In the years 1981 – 1984, 1,007 vehicles were produced.
According to the available documents, the vehicle presented here was delivered in Italy and registered there for the first time on 02.07.1982. The original Ferrari folder with service booklet, owner’s manual and warranty card as well as copies of the old Italian registrations are available.
This Ferrari 512 BBi has an original mileage of only 5,140 km. A major service including replacement of the timing belt has recently been carried out by a Ferrari specialist.
