The SL model series (R107), which came onto the market in 1971 as the successor to the so-called “Pagoda” (W 113), established a new design line at Mercedes-Benz with its broadband H4 headlights and large fluted tail lights. The appearance of the R107 characterised the Mercedes-Benz design of the 1970s. A total of 237,287 vehicles were produced between 1974 and 1989, of which only 13,742 were 300 SLs (R 107 E 30)!
Vehicles with the motorisation shown here were only delivered to the USA, Japan and Canada. The car presented here was also delivered to Canada and imported to Germany a few years ago. The vehicle was inspected and serviced by Mercedes-Benz Classic and sold to the current owner. In addition to the original new car invoice, all on-board documents and complete service records a Carfax information is also available. A good opportunity to acquire an almost untouched original vehicle in an attractive colour scheme and with a low total mileage of just 92,390 km.
