Description:
The world premiere of the Porsche Carrera RS took place at the Paris Salon in October 1972. Originally, a limited edition of only 500 units was planned, but even before the Porsche RS was presented to the press, the entire edition of 500 units was completely sold out. In March of the following year the time had come and the construction of the second series was started, also due to the great demand, but mainly to enable a homologation in group 3. A total of 1580 vehicles were produced between 1972 and 1973.
This first-class Porsche 911 2.7 RS was first delivered in April 1973. Since then the vehicle has always been located in Germany. The owner history is well documented. A few years ago this vehicle was completely restored at Porsche in Stuttgart according to available invoice documents. A current appraisal with a market value of 650.000,00€ is available.
