Description:
The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 has a special standing in the history of the Porsche 911. The Carrera 3.0 combines the characteristics of the legendary Porsche 911 2.7 RS and the Porsche 930 Turbo, which used the same aluminium engine block. The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 was only produced in the model year 1976 and 1977 with a number of approx. 2,566 vehicles (excluding the USA).
The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 presented here was delivered via the Porsche dealer Schulz in Ratingen (D) in January 1977 and has been in collector’s hands for many years.
According to the previous owner, the Porsche has a mileage of only 81,300 km. Years ago, the wings were widened to “Turbolook” and the vehicle was repainted in its rare delivery colour “Continental Orange”. The car still has its original engine and gearbox (“Matching-Numbers”). A Porsche Classic certificate and a historic registration are available.
Especially the early Porsche G models inspire with impressive sporty driving characteristics due to their still low vehicle weight.
