The world premiere of the Porsche Carrera RS took place at the Salon Paris in October 1972. Originally it was planned to produce only a limited quantity of 500 examples, but even before the Porsche RS was presented to the press, the whole edition was completely sold out. In March of the following year ones started with the production of the second series also because of the great demand but most of all to enable the homologation for the group 3.
From 1972 until 1973 a total of 1580 cars were produced.
This pristine original Porsche 911 2,7 RS was original delivered in the colour blood orange to the company Berckmüller in Germany on April 17th 1973. Since then the car has been always registered in Germany. The history of owners is completely documented and the original owner´s manual as well as the service book are with the car. This Porsche is in a beautiful partly restored original condition. The entire technics were extensively revised by a renowned specialist about 1.000 km ago.
