Description:
The introduction of the Porsche 928 in 1977 marked a new chapter for the marque. Its water-cooled, front-mounted V8 engine and rear-mounted transaxle combined impressive performance with exceptional long-distance comfort. Launched in spring 1989, the 928 GT was the sportier version of the S4, powered by a 5.0-litre V8 producing 330 PS. The GT remained in production through the 1991 model year, before the GTS became the final evolution of the range. Porsche 928 production ended in 1995. Originally delivered in Germany, this Porsche 928 GT has remained in the country ever since. One of just 1,620 examples built, it is a rare find, with only 38,759 km on the odometer, original paintwork and exceptionally well-preserved, near-untouched condition. The retained historic German registration documents provide a complete record of its ownership history. The original owner’s wallet, service book and additional invoices document its maintenance history. A comprehensive service, including a timing belt replacement, was recently completed, complementing the outstanding condition of this collector’s example.
