Description:
The BMW 507 is considered a timeless icon of automotive design. Designed by Albrecht Graf von Goertz, it was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1955. With a price of 26,500 DM, it was one of the most expensive sports cars of its time. Probably for this reason, only 252 vehicles (including 3 prototypes) were produced instead of the hoped-for 5,000 units.
This BMW was delivered to Wuppertal in April 1957 (with hardtop). It is one of only 43 examples of the first series and therefore Mille Miglia eligible! The car has a pure German history and was completely restored from 2008 to 2010 by the 507 expert Brummer on a very good basis. The seating position was changed during the restoration so that even taller drivers have enough space.
Equipment: Hardtop, central locking Rudge wheels, radio Becker Mexico, etc.
Rare opportunity!
Engine:
V8, 3.213 ccm, 160 hp Alloy engine (factory data)
