Description:
At the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Porsche presents the new 991.1 GT3 RS. The most powerful naturally aspirated 911 is a touch more radical than its already strong base, the GT3.
The front wheel arch vents optimise downforce at the front axle, just like in thoroughbred racing cars. The chassis, designed for maximum dynamics and precision, benefits from the new rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with fully variable rear-axle cross-lock. From a standstill, the 315 km/h 911 GT3 RS accelerates to 100 km/h in a breathtaking 3.6 seconds.
On the bonnet and roof, a 30-centimetre-wide bead indicates the race track-ready RS model. There is no understatement at the rear either: the huge spoiler looks like it’s straight out of the racing department. The two centrally positioned exhaust tailpipes round off the well-trained appearance.
