In October 2018, Ford presented the latest version of the legendary GT super sports car to the press. This new variant was touted as an intermediate version between the standard GT and the Competition Series cars. As with the standard GT, potential buyers had to apply to Ford in order to acquire one of these rare vehicles. The designation “Heritage Edition” refers to the legendary 24-hour race in Daytona in 1966, when Ford broke through Ferrari’s racing dominance with the GT40 and took the first three places in the race. It is understandable that Ford would like to capture this very special moment in motorsport history with a special edition. The Hommage GT comes in visible carbon fibre, white and red accents. The Daytona GT comes with gold 20-inch tyres as standard. This GT Heritage Edition offers the rare opportunity to acquire one of Ford’s most legendary super sports cars in a tasteful special paint finish and with a low mileage. There were propably only two vehicles produced in this Heritage design for the German market. The car is in 1st hand.
