The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a Supersportscar that was developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren – these cars were produced in Portsmouth and finished / completed in Woking . The SLR has a supercharged V8 engine with 5,4 liters capacity that delivers 626 PS in standard version. To achieve better weight positions the engine is mounted behind the front axle ( front-middleengine) – benefit is a much better handling. The SLR has a special exhaust system that ends at the sides of the car behind the front axle (sidepipes). The whole body is made from Carbon.

The SLR 722 S has an output of 650 PS – about 300 pieces/parts were changed and optimized to have this result. Lighter oiltanks, exhaust in Aluminium, many part in Carbon, and over a hundred hours of work on the car in the windtunnel ment precise handling and steering even at a speed over 300 km/h.
