Steyr-Daimler-Puch was known for its extremely off-road capable Haflinger and Pinzgauer models and wanted to launch a commercial vehicle that was at least as off-road capable with a stronger passenger car orientation and broader engine range. With the G-Class, Austrian engineering performance was combined with German engine quality and its body shape has hardly changed since 1979. Thus, the G-Class has remained a genuine off-road performer for the toughest off-road use! The former military vehicle presented here has been extensively overhauled, completely repainted and extensively optimised by the Steyr-Puch / G-Class specialist ALLRADWERK in accordance with the in-house “Allradwerk” specification.
This is a timeless and extremely high-quality version of the robust off-road vehicle – classic with a wide range of uses.
