From 18 to 20 September 2026, Thiesen Hamburg – Automobile Raritäten will be represented at the legendary Goodwood Revival.
Timm Meinrenken, owner of Thiesen Hamburg GmbH , will compete in two exceptional historic racing cars: a 1959 Lister Costin Jaguar and a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint 1600 GTA.

The Goodwood Revival is one of the world’s most important historic motorsport events. At the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit, some of the most fascinating racing and sports cars of their era come together – not merely as static exhibits, but in competition, exactly where their history was made. For Thiesen Automobile Raritäten, Goodwood is therefore far more than just an event: it is automotive history brought to life.

Lister Costin Jaguar – Sussex Trophy

In the Sussex Trophy Timm Meinrenken will share the wheel with three-time Le Mans winner Marcel Fässler in a particularly significant 1959 Lister Costin Jaguar. The car is one of only twelve Lister Costins ever built and the first of just three Cambridge-built examples fitted with a Jaguar engine. It also has a documented period racing history, including appearances at Goodwood and the Nürburgring 1000 km race.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint 1600 GTA – St Mary’s Trophy

In the St. Mary’s Trophy Timm Meinrenken will compete in an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint 1600 GTA. The GTA, produced in 1965, was completely rebuilt over several years and prepared for use in historic racing.
The St. Mary’s Trophy is held over two races: on Friday, Marcel Fässler will drive the Alfa Romeo, while on Sunday, Timm Meinrenken will take the wheel.

A strong team behind the scenes

Competing at the highest level at the Goodwood Revival is only possible with the dedicated support of an experienced and committed team. An important contribution comes from specialist Steinke Sportwagenservice and Thomas Steinke from Hamburg, whose expertise and team play a key role in the preparation and support of the cars.
