    Description:

In 1972, a Targa version was added to the 246 model range, which was called the 246 GTS. The open version Dino 246 GTS was only built from 1972 to 1974. There were 1,274 examples, of which many were delivered to the USA.

With stable sales figures for the Dino 246 GT, Ferrari tried to increase its popularity even further by introducing an open-top version of this model. Thus, the 246 GTS debuted in 1972 at the Geneva Motor Show and enthused the audience. In terms of design, the individual, attractive shapes of the 264 GT were retained. However, this model had a removable targa roof. The forward look is reminiscent of the Le Mans sports cars of the sixties, and the rev-hungry engine evokes a racing feeling.

According to available documentation, this Ferrari 246 GTS was delivered to the USA in 1973 and was domiciled in California until 2017, when it arrived in Germany. Numerous invoices prove that it is an extensively restored vehicle. In August 2017, this Dino received the “best vehicle of its era” award at the Concours D`Elegance in Pebble Beach. A Ferrari Classiche certificate, the original on-board folder with service booklet, the original on-board tools and a German Classic Data report are available. This is a unique opportunity to acquire one of the sought-after 246 GTS in excellent collector condition and the classic colour combination!

5-speed gearbox, air condition, Cromodora wheels

    Engine:
    V 6-cylinder, 2.418 cm³, 258 hp (factory data)
