Description:
The 250 GT/E was manufactured by Ferrari from 1960 to 1963. It belongs to the wide-ranging model family of the Ferrari 250 GT, with which it shares essential elements of drive technology and chassis. The 250 GTE 2+2 was Ferrari’s first produced four-seater and, with a production of 950 units, the most successful single model of the brand up to that time.
The current owner acquired the vehicle presented here in a very good original condition in Italy a few years ago. He then had the car extensively partially restored by a specialist in Germany. Among other things, the engine was completely overhauled, the paintwork was renewed on bare metal and the original leather upholstery was carefully reworked. The work is documented by invoices for approx. 230.000,- €. The vehicle was certified by Ferrari Classiche.
The timeless Pininfarina styling with the Grand Tourer practicality of the 250 GTE 2+2 makes this Ferrari with its outstanding driving characteristics a versatile, reliable touring car.
