The world premiere of the Porsche Carrera RS took place at the Salon Paris in October 1972. Originally it was planned to produce only a limited quantity of 500 examples, but even before the Porsche RS was presented to the press, the whole edition was completely sold out. In March of the following year ones started with the production of the second series also because of the great demand but most of all to enable the homologation for the group 3.
This Porsche 911 2,7 RS was originally delivered through Dealer Raffay in Hamburg on April 01st, 1973. Since then the car has been always registered in Germany. The history of owners is well documented. The Porsche presented here was extensively restored and has an excellent original bodywork. The technics including engine were extensively revised and dyno tested. The car comes with German registration papers and an actual valuation report.
