Description:
The 3500 GT was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1957. The white prototype is still remembered today as “la Dama Bianca” or “White Lady”. The car was the first real Gran Turismo from Maserati, which was also built in larger numbers. Thanks to its great success, the then financially troubled brand has not only survived, but has also become a provider of exclusive sports cars with a strong character.
Between 1958 and 1965, 1,983 examples of the 3500 GT and 3500 GTI Coupé were produced.
The 3500 GT presented here was delivered to its first owner, Mr Eugenio Nora, in Carpi near Modena in March 1961, who drove the car for a long time. In the 1980s, the car went to France and was acquired in 2014 by a German enthusiast, under whose direction the GT was completely restored “body-off” in more than 2,500 hours of work by specialised workshops without regard to costs. Extensive photographic documentation and Maserati Classiche certificates are available.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a Maserati 3500 GT with outstanding driving characteristics in an exceptional Concours condition.
