Description:
In September 1963, Porsche presented the Porsche 901, the successor to the Porsche 356, to the public at the IAA in Frankfurt. One year later, from the 1965 model year, series production of the model, renamed 911 shortly afterwards, began.
According to the available data card from Porsche, this 911 2.0 Coupé was already produced in 1965. The vehicle was delivered in Germany after completion. Particularly noteworthy is the electric sunroof, which was rarely fitted to early 911s. In the meantime, the Porsche was based in California and returned to Germany a few years ago. The vehicle was completely restored with great attention to detail and true to the original. The bare body was painted in the special colour “golf blue” according to its delivery. Extensive photographic documentation of the restoration process and a valuation report are available.
A rare opportunity to acquire one of the few still existing, authentically restored, early 911 Coupés!
