    Description:

With the 964 Carrera RSR Porsche returned to production-based GT racing in the early 1990s. Based on the RS 3.8, the RSR was constructed as a powerful racing sports car for use in major GT competitions. The RSR was immediately successful and won the GT class at the “24 Hours of Le Mans” in 1993, the “24 Hours on the Nürburgring” and twice “Around the Clock in Spa”.

Between April 1993 and December 1994 only 51 examples of the 964 RSR 3.8 were produced in the race department of Porsche!

This original works race car was initially intended for use in Club Sports Events in the USA. Instead it was exported to its first owner Nova Engineering in Japan and was driven in various motorsport competitions, such as the 1,000 km of Suzuka. In 2007 the RSR returned to Germany and was extensively overworked by the Karlsruhe-based Porsche specialist Freisinger Motorsport. Since then the car is part of an important collection.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a Porsche 964 Carrera RSR 3.8 in excellent condition. This promising investment is ideal for top-class motorsport events such as „Le Mans Classic“ and „Endurance Racing Legends“.

    Engine:
6-cylinder aspirated Boxer engine, 3.8 ltr, 350 hp (fact. spec.)

    Equipment:
5-speed gearbox, race clutch, race suspension, RECARO race seat, fuel tank 120 liter, Le Mans race exhaust, etc.
