    Description:

In 1997 Porsche presented the 993 Cup 3.8 RSR as the successor to the 964 Carrera 3.8 RSR. It was intended for racing in the GT3 classes (equivalent to GT2 today) and national racing series. The car was based on the Porsche 993 and was fitted with the wing extensions and the racing chassis from the 993 GT2. The engine was taken from the predecessor and was slightly overworked. Instead of five the gearbox now had six gears.

No. 10 of 30 race cars manufactured in small series at Porsche Motorsport in Weissach!

This original works race car was exported to the USA on 09.12.1996. In 2003 the Porsche 993 RSR returned to Germany and was extensively overworked by the Porsche specialist Freisinger Motorsport in Karsruhe. Since then the car is part of an important collection. The RSR has just received a fresh service. A current DMSB car passport for the vehicle is available.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a Porsche 993 RSR 3.8 in excellent condition. This promising investment is ideal for top-class motorsport events such as “Le Mans Classic” and “Endurance Racing Legends”.

    Engine:
6-cylinder aspirated Boxer engine, 3.8 ltr, 350 hp (fact. spec.)

    Equipment:
6-speed gearbox, race clutch, race suspension, RECARO race seat, fire extinguisher, etc.
