    Description:

From the Jaguar C-Type which achieved straightaway sensational sporting successes, were only built ca. 51 examples between 1951 and 1953.

The vehicle presented here is an authentic “Recreation” using contemporary Jaguar components based on a Jaguar MK VII. The work carried out in 2010 is extensively photo-documented. The car was built as a so-called “toolroom copy” of an original C-type originally delivered to France. The specification corresponds to that of the C-Types built by Jaguar for private drivers at the time. Therefore the car is unlike to the factory race cars equipped with SU carburettors, drum brakes and a slightly thicker aluminium body, in contrast to the factory racing cars.

The car has a German road registration as well as an HTP passport! It is therefore an ideal car both for the road and for participation in top-class racing and rally events.

    Equipment:
Pearson racing gearbox, limited slip differential, Koni shock absorbers, alloy-cooler, oil-cooler, roll bar (removable) etc.

    Engine:
Power optimized DOHC 6-cylinder, 3.442 cm³, 2 SU HS8 carburettors, engine no.: C8610FF
