In 2015, the Jaguar Special Vehicle Operation hand-build just 250 Project 7.
The Jaguar F-Type was available in Europe from 2014. As early as 2015, Jaguar decided on an uncompromisingly sporty variant of the F-Type via its in-house “Special Vehicle Operation” and named it “Project 7” in reference to seven Le Mans victories. With a few technical tricks, such as stiffening the steering column, the suspension and a modified camber of the front wheels, the car became significantly more agile and completed a lap of the “Nordschleife7 Nürburgring” in just 7.35 minutes. The Project 7 is a genuine roadster that wants to be driven with the top down . The soft top that is attached is also only approved for speeds of up to 120 mph. The Project 7 was the most powerful road-legal Jaguar of its time. With only 250 examples, most of which were made by hand, it was a collector’s item from the start and sold out immediately. Only 20 cars were delivered to Germany!
This Project 7 has only completed 3800 km and is in the hands of a German collector. It has been serviced according to regulations, has new “Semislick” tires and is ideally suited as a collector’s vehicle because of its almost new condition. The vehicle comes with the original Project 7 helmets, the soft top and all the documents, including the aluminum box with the “Certificate of Authenticity”.
