The Bentley S3 was presented to the public for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in October 1962. At first glance, only a few differences from its predecessor were recognisable, but the details revealed numerous innovations and technical improvements. A total of 1,286 Bentley S III were built between 1962 and 1965. Only 2 vehicles were built on the basis of the S III as a convertible with LHD by Mulliner. At the same time, Rolls-Royce produced an identical vehicle, the Silver Cloud III model.

According to the available documentation, the vehicle presented here was completely dismantled over several years and fully built up new as a convertible by a renowned specialist according to the original factory drawings in the Mulliner specification. The engine and gearbox were completely reconditioned and numerous modifications and technical optimisations were carried out without destroying the historic appearance. A total of around €500,000 was invested. The entire restoration process, which was carried out to the highest standards, is documented in detail with photos and invoices.
